Delivery & Returns

We can offer an expedited service in case you are in a very large time crunch. This service is extra and can only speed it up to 20 days instead of the usual 35 days.

Please let us know about this before you place your order. This fee is NOT refundable at any point whatsoever.

No. We offer free postage on certain order limits. We offer refund on standard items (No refund on custom made items) but you will have to ensure the item is returned to us in a satisfactory condition. Items must be returned to us in original packaging, unused and neatly packed as you received it.
We will not pay for your return postage or reimburse you for the cost of return postage.
We reserve the right to refuse refund if we find out the item returned is not in the original packaging and in a satisfactory condition. We will return it to you in that case.

We can refund 100% of your order price if we find out it’s our fault. We do not refund postage costs unless we make a mistake and send you the wrong item from what you ordered.

Each suit is carefully folded and placed inside a durable shipping box before we ship it to you. Our packing ensures that your suit will not get too wrinkled during transit. If suit arrive a little wrinkled, you can get them pressed so it looks the part.
Unfortunately we are not able to ship your suit to you hanging. Our shipping partner requires us to put suits in their hard,strong box so it is protected during transit.

After you receive your suit, we recommend that you press it and wear it 1-2 times. Use this time to break into your suit and allow time for your suit to mold to the shape of your body. This will allow you to see how the suit naturally drapes on your body.

Generally, it takes up to 6 weeks to make your suit. We state 30-35 Days to allow for delays in the post.

Our Suits are carefully handmade by our experienced tailors and takes time and effort to complete. We cannot really rush art.
If you are in hurry to get your suit or have a last minute event, please contact us before you order so we can discuss it and see whether we can accommodate your request.

For weddings, corporate and big groups, please email us for a free consultation.

Absolutely Not! We are tailors not personal trainers.
We cannot take into consideration any proposed weight loss as we are not able to know how much weight and size you will lose.
If you intend to lose weight, please get fitted closer to the time of your special day.
We will not be responsible for an ill-fitted suit as a result of weight gain or loss.

At least 2 months in advance of the day you plan to wear the suit.
We understand it is a special occasion, but please note we refuse to service ‘Groomzillas’. We need your participation to offer a seamless experience.
Our suits take 30-35 days to be made and deliver to you. If you are coming to us with less than 35 days remaining and you have have us make your suit for your wedding, there is a non-negotiable £50 expedite-fee per suit.
We will also not be responsible for any non acceptable last minute changes or adjustments resulting from this. Please give yourself some breathing time by planning well.

We ship globally to all countries. We use the fastest and safest shipping companies like DHL, UPS and FedEx for International deliveries.

We offer free shipping on all UK orders (Excludes The Channel of Man, Isle of Wight, Isle of Dogs and The Scottish Highlands)

The delivery to PO boxes, military addresses, APO/DPO is not possible.

Please contact us before purchase if you are in Africa or South America.

Any delays can cause problems for the next customer’s order, so be sure to return your order no more than 2 days after your event has passed. Late returns will be charged at a rate of 25% of the rental price per day. If for some reason you cannot return your items within 2 days due to travel or other circumstances, please contact our customer care team and we will be happy to work with you.

You are advised to make sure you are happy with your choice before going ahead as custom made suits cannot be returned and are not refundable.
Contact us. We will provide you with excellent support and care advice until you are happy with your suit. We will fix whatever you do not like about the suit so that it is the best suit you have ever worn. We are 100% committed to making you happy in your J&W Suit.

If any part of your suit was made incorrectly, email us at sales@jennisandwarmann.uk and we will work with you to fix the problem. We are very reasonable so in the extremely rare occasion that we cannot fix a problem, we will gladly give you a refund.

Delivery & Pickup

  • The cost of delivery is £15 for up to 4 Suits. £5 per any additional suit.
    • You will need to arrange the return of the suits
  • The cost of delivery and pickup is £25 for up to 4 Suits. £8 per any additional suit.
    • We will send your suits to you by DHL and will arrange for DHL to pick up the suits from you the next working day after your event for peace of mind.

Unfortunately we are not able to take payment on the phone. Calls to our phone lines are recorded and as per data protection, we cannot take card details as that will constitute storing card details which we do not do.
You can comfortably place your order online via our website. If you need any help, please call us and we will help you.

Yes. If you cannot pay by a debit/credit card please contact us and we will help you.

You can also chose the “Direct Bank Transfer” option at checkout.

We have an account in most countries that accepts payments on our behalf without a fee.

We work hard to make sure everyone is happy with their purchase. However, we believe some customers cannot be pleased whatsoever.
We can fit almost all body shapes and sizes. If you are an odd body type or size please let us know so we can confirm by emailing sales@jennisandwarmann.uk. Our support staff and fit specialists work hard to treat you like gold – however, if you are rude or patronizing we don’t need your business.

We reserve the right to refuse to serve anyone we think is problematic and we believe is rude or will never be satisfied.

All our suits are individually handmade based on the specific style of each customer.

However, we can tailor your garment to any standard you require, while still providing the same handmade quality standard.

Stocked suits usually does does not fit the body perfectly. A carefully tailored suit from J&W is guaranteed to fit you perfectly.

Jennis & Warmann does not do off the peg mass produced suits at the moment but we are working on it.

Yes and No. We typically process the order 48-72 hours after payment. If it has been 5 days post-payment and order confirmation you may be out of luck. Contact your fit specialist immediately to see if we can change a detail. If you add more customization options, they may carry extra cost and you will have to pay for that before it is accepted.
We cannot change style options after suit is made.

You can order just the waistcoat from the drop down options.

Suit Hire

The Hire Range

We will really want you to have the suit you want for your occasion. However, we are not able to hire some suits as they are considered exclusive.

We take care of all the dry cleaning and we use only modern, eco-friendly processes.
Do not worry about cleaning them after use. Just fold it nicely and place them back in the box you received them in and send them back to us.

We carefully pack your suit before we send to you. For best look, we recommend pressing them professionally before use.
We do not recommend pressing them at home using a domestic iron as damages to the suit will have to be paid for.

We are pleased to offer most of our suit range for hire. We understand that not everyone wants/can afford to buy suits for that special occasion but that does not mean you should not wear a special suit for your special day. This is why we have put together this special tweed suit hire package for you.

Hiring our suit is a great way to secure your outfit for any type of function for less. We’re very glad to offer individual and group hire.

Unfortunately, we do not hire children’s items.

We recommend placing your order as soon as you know the date of your event. In any case, we need 35 days to guarantee availability. If your event is a few weeks away, we cannot guarantee availability and it may be limited. A rush fee for expedited service will be applied. Contact our customer care team with any questions regarding availability for a future date.

Suit are delivered 2/3 days prior to the event and must be returned the next working day after the event. Late returns will incur a charge.

To make sure we get the right sizes to you, it is very important you follow our Standard Size Guide and give us those measurements as accurately as you can. You MUST give us what’s exactly on the tape measure so we can work out the best fit for you.

Most companies make their suits differently so it is important that you give us the correct measurements according to the guide and not from your current suit.

We have packages for every occasion: Weddings, Royal Ascot, Goodwood, Traditional Festivals, School Proms and much more.

Three Piece – £120+VAT

We understand…crazy stuff happens. Our dry cleaners and tailors can sometimes fix small stains and minor damage.
In case of significant damage which renders the product unusable, or if you fail to return the product, your credit card will be charged for the retail price of the item.

Any delays can cause problems for the next customer’s order, so be sure to return your order no more than 2 days after your event has passed. Late returns will be charged at a rate of 25% of the rental price per day. If you would like to change your order or shipping information, please contact our Sales Team.
If you would like to change your measurements, please email us and we’ll try to help you. If your event is less than 30 days away, please contact our customer care team for assistance in changing your measurements.
We cannot change your order in your event is less than 2 weeks away.

Delivery & Pickup

Hire Period

Your hire period is 5 days. This means that your suit will be delivered to you 5 days before the event and must be returned the next working day after your event.
Your suits can also be picked up from our studio 5 days before the event and must be returned to us the next working day after the event.
We can also arrange a DHL Delivery and Collection from you for peace of mind.

  1. If your order has already shipped, we cannot change it. We will refund your rental charges less 30% to cover holding and admin fees. Your delivery and pickup fees will not be refunded.
  2. For cancellations 3 weeks prior to shipping for your event date, you will receive a full refund less 15%.

Tailoring & Fittings

Yes, Yes but No. You can customize your suit the way you want it. Our Standard style customization is included in the price but if you ask for more non standard options like lining change, turn up trousers, accent buttonholes, functional cuffs, trouser lining, these will carry extra cost.
You can discuss this with your fit expert on the day.

Yes, no doubt about it. By following the instructions in our SUIT MEASUREMENT GUIDE and using a tape measure, you can get accurate measurements.
As an alternative, you can always go to your local tailor or dry cleaner for measurement taking if you feel more comfortable with that approach.

You can also book an appointment with us and someone will get in touch to arrange a home consultation to take your measurement for a small fee.

We visit inner and outer London, Kent, Surrey, Hertfordshire and Essex. However, please contact us with your address and someone will advise if we can visit your area.

We can do children’s suits to match the wedding party. However, because children’s jackets are very small, it takes time and meticulous attention to get them done so we will charge the full price.
We can also make children’s trouser and waistcoat set to match the wedding party for a lower cost.

Slim fit trousers are generally tapered to the body as opposed to the regular fit style which has room and looks more straight.
if you need more room or have big thighs and calfs, ask for a Loose Fit.

 

We believe in making your suit with only the very best fabrics. We have a huge range of incredible fabrics sourced from the best fabric manufacturers.

Our fabrics range from the most luxurious 100% Worsted Wool, various types, style and patterns of Tweed fabrics to the Super 120’s 100% Wool.

If you have a specific fabric type in mind, just drop us a hint and we’ll do our best to get it for you.

You are advised to make sure you are happy with your choice before going ahead as custom made suits cannot be returned and are not refundable.

If your first suit comes in and it requires additional tailoring to complete the look we will take care of the alterations in-house. You will not pay for alterations.
We require that you use our in-house service and leave the suit with us. We will not credit or reimburse for any alterations used by a third party tailor.
We then update your fit pattern based on our in-house alterations so your fit is perfected.

Jennis & Warmann acquires materials from all over the world and from the same vendors that supply luxury brand designers. Our Wool fabrics are from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Canvassing and shoulder pads are from Hong Kong. Buttons are from China and Taiwan. Suits are designed with the client and fit specialist in our base in London, and order specifications and the CAD design are finalized in London. Fabrics are laser cut with Gerber autoCAD technology and the suits are constructed in Hong Kong. We invest in the best machinery to ensure that our production capabilities are scalable and error-free.

On your appointment , you will meet one of our fit experts.
Our Fit Specialists will take your full 24 points of measurement,  go through the options and style choices. This will then be sent to our designers who will draft your unique auto-cad fit, go over all of our design, style and fabric options.
Our fit specialist will also perform your second fitting and fit-check if needed and provide any alteration if necessary on the suit.
The second fitting can be arranged after the suit is complete if needed. We aim to get the suit perfected in one go but if alterations are needed, we will sort it out on a second fitting.
